Dear Matt and Mar,
During the past few weeks Bangkok was nothing short of a pizza oven, and I do mean that literally. Walking a short distance from A to B, directly under the sun and your arm will look identical to a succulent Peking duck.
After our visit to my Aunt, it was decided that we really needed to cool down, option A was to go and have a wander around in the mall or option B to go home for a swim… I couldn’t face another zombie-ing session in the mall, so we headed home.
The cloud was dark and heavy, the wind was picking up, and I can hear almost every person in Bangkok begging for it to rain… So after we’d arrived home the pool was out of the question (rain was sure to come, but it didn’t), luckily our bath is the size of an Olympic swimming pool, and subsequently much fun were had by you to :-) it wasn’t so fun cleaning up after you though, haa haa haa.
Supper was a simple affair, sticky rice and fried chicken… this was when I’d snapped this shot, Matt, you are becoming a real help, we know that now and then Mar gets on your nerve (as a two and bit always should, haa haa haa), but you are always there for her, and Mar, you always look up to Matt, following him like his second shadow and copy everything he does… haa haa haa.
I am sure once you are older with more responsibilities and all the baggage that comes with that, so certainly there will be a time when you two don’t see eye to eye, and when that happens, I am going to show you two this photo… to remind you of a simpler time, of sticky rice and fried chicken… haa haa haa.
